I was so excited to get a new washing machine - ah, the simple things in life that make me happy. Ours was about to shake itself to pieces, poor thing. The kids, too, thought that a new washer was the coolest thing ever; but more for the box than anything. It quickly became the perfect sized house. Alyssa spent two days decorating and coloring it. She even hung pictures of her cousins inside and drew an oven and a chair. In these pictures Buggy is over for "a visit."
Buggy is one of my most enthusiastic piano students.
Buggy's first Oreo. Stupid mommy, I gave it to him in the car. He loved it though.
For Christmas, we, I mean, Santa gave Beastie an animal doctor kit. That's what she wants to be when she grows up. She found these glasses that came with it yesterday and has been wearing them since. I think they are hilarious. She tells me that she can see at school and at other people's houses, but here at home she can't see without her glasses. She's weird, but we love her to pieces!

ReplyDeleteI've never thought to let my kids play in the washer...but now that I think about it, that may be a great idea! With no water in there, it's safe, and containing! :) Cute kids!
ReplyDeleteThose "simple things" like new washing machines can change the life of a mom! Especially if you had a bad one before. Glad you were able to get a new one!
ReplyDeleteAnd we love Alyssa's box house. And her haircut still looks so cute!

ReplyDeleteOh that is so cute! Alyssa has a very vivid imagination. Tell her she better have a picture of me up in her house, preferably one that is slimming.
ReplyDeleteLove the glasses!
